How will you spend your time at Vodafone?   •    Oracle Database Installation, Creation, Migration, Patching, Upgrades, admin utilities/console •    Ensuring that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly •    Evolve the database environment within the organization, including better information delivery mechanisms, methodologies, and architecture •    Controlling access permissions and privileges •    Ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly •    Proactive monitoring of deployed systems and HW/SW components •    Bachelor or graduate degree in computer science (or related field) •    Ensure that VF HSE&W procedures are implemented and works carried out in compliance with local HSE regulations.
•    Ensure that work associated risks are assessed and reduced so far as is reasonably practicable •    Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library, •    Report all suspected security and/or policy breaches, potential security risks to VF TR Corporate Security, •    Protect VF TR’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference, •    Protect user accounts and associated passwords, and accept accountability for any actions performed via usage of those accounts.
•    Ensure that VFTR  BCM policy /standard,procedures,plans  implemented and works carried out in compliance with   BS  Standard  •    Ensure that BCM  risks are assessed and mitigated  so far as is reasonably practicable in VFTR  Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) •    Ensure VTR BCMS by planning, establishing, embedding, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving within VFTR You are just the person we’ve been looking for, if you have.
•    Bachelor or graduate degree in computer science (or related field) •    Basic Experience in a Database concepts •    Basic UNIX shell scripting, PLSQL, and SQL skills •    Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills •    Python or Java knowledge is preferred •    Eager to improve technical skills •    Good communication, documentation and reporting skills •    Should be a good team player and should be able perform well under stress •    Fluency in English   Get to know us   If you want to know more about us and what we do, then visit our website.
