COMMERCIAL FINANCE CONTROLLER

Today, with 7 offices in Europe and point of sales in more than 20 European countries, Havaianas came to offer innovative and high quality products, through color, joy and a comfortable and sophisticated lifestyle.Purpose of the Role: Become the finance go-to person for DTC and Pan European accounts activities related to planning & analysis and business partnership: business cases, strategy execution, support the commercial teams with key decisions. Own the planning and reporting cycles and ensure strategic objectives are understood and reflected in the business plans. Balance the financial goal of maximizing value for shareholders with the commercial goals of delivering sustainable growth and driving competitive advantage for our brand in the marketplace.Responsibilities:Coordinate the preparation of Budgets and Monthly forecasts, appropriately divided by business dimension (i.e. customer, retail format, country). Drive a streamlined and flexible process to gather (i) data about past and (ii) forecasts from the business owners. Own the calendar. Prepare monthly reports with the most relevant KPIs, by business dimension and drivers, in a way that pinpoints the areas that need attention. Share the Forecasts and Actuals with the stakeholders; drive transparency and ownership thru review process. Business Partnering on commercial proposals; oversee trade terms execution; balance price volume, profitability.Employ the appropriate Sellout and other outside data to explain the past and bake insights int the forecasts.Know the business and the story telling: understand the business drivers and their impact on the results vs plans, the risks and opportunities. Share these drivers inside the Account/DTC team and with the wider organization.Examine contractual terms and conditions, and insure they are accurately accrued for and reflected in forecasts. Prepare business cases for new projects and initiatives, as well as periodical renewal of terms and conditions. Perform Channel, Customer, Store profitability analysis, looking at drivers such as Wholesale: Pricing, Discounts and Cost to ServeDTC: initial investment, promotions, payroll, rent, other SG&A.Capabilities:Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent. Knowledge of Accounting Principles. MBA is a plus.5 years of experience in finance and/or consulting. FP&A experience (budgeting, forecasting) is a big plus.Experience in Business Partnering.Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Cloud equivalents. Knowledge of other financial systems is a plus.Strong organizational, collaboration skills. Strong analytical skills and drive for results.Pro-active communicator. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a plain language.
