Business Development InternshipDeimos Flight Segment Directorate offers an internship in its Business Development team to support efforts to commercialize Flight Segment products.The work of the Flight Segment Directorate is the design and implementation of space missions, and the development of Software and Avionics products for the Space sector. As a matter of reference, DEIMOS’ Flight Segment Directorate activities cover:VehiclesObservation (EO) satellitesServicing (SSV) and active debris removal (ADR) missionsDescent, and landing on planets (Earth, Mars) & natural satellitesExploration and observation, including interplanetary navigationSoftware capabilities, incl. edge processing and satellite autonomyMain Duties:The following types of responsibilities are envisioned:In the definition and creation of business and financial plansModelling for business plans and proposalsIn market and competitor research (gather and support analysis of public information)Of documentation for business plans and market researchIn preparation of presentations for prospect customers and managementIn the creation of pricing models and relevant toolsGeneral activities to support business development of the Flight SegmentEducation:A recognized double degree in engineering and business, or a degree in business administration or economics. Professional Experience:Not required.Knowledge of national and European institutions in the space sector, and of the space sector in general is desired.Technical requirements:Knowledge of Office 365 tools. Good knowledge of Excel in particular is required.with business plan frameworks (e.g., business model canvas) and market analysis frameworks (e.g., TAM, SAM, SOM)experience with Excel modelling is desiredLanguage Skills:Professional level of English, spoken and writtenPersonal Skills:To integrate in and work within an international teamAutonomy and self-developmentCustomer-oriented, resolutive mindsetTo tackle challengesTowards the customer and colleaguesHRRECRUIT- 844
