Accountabilities.
As the RWD Alliances & Governance Director, you will ensure access, use & storage of data is safe and compliant with internal & external rules and regulations.
You will lead and author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to RWD/RWE governance, access & use, including cross-functional stakeholder engagement and consensus gathering.
You will identify new opportunities and actively manage AstraZeneca’s strategic involvement in targeted external alliances to facilitate access to new RWD sources and advance our leadership in evidence generation.
Essential Skills/Experience.
- Extensive operational understanding of real-world evidence - Extensive alliance and project management expertise - Experience leading data governance within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related health care organization - Deep expertise in the application of RWD to drive external impact - Knowledge of clinical and pharmaceutical drug development process and associated regulatory requirements - Excellent inter-personal, conflict-resolution and teaming skills - Exceptional communication and presentation skills - Strong work ethic and high integrity standards - Experience working on a cross functional teams in a matrix organization - Demonstrated leadership experience - Vendor and budget management - Excellent proficiency in key Microsoft Office programs Desirable Skills/Experience.
