BI ANALYST

As a BI Analyst, you are in charge of building data models to support key business decisions. You will collaborate with our data owners, guide your team members and work closely with our clients on their challenges requiring Data Analytics. As a BI Analyst, you work closely with data analysts and product owners to create fast, efficient, and scalable data solutions for Werfen. Key Accountabilities Among others, you will: Work with the team and business stakeholders to identify requirements, define models, and kickstart new analytics initiatives. Have deep knowledge of all the datasets inside the data lake to be able to provide guidance to stakeholders. Apply the correct data models to the business problem at hand. Leverage creative solutions, analytics, and visualization/ reporting techniques to enhance knowledge and drive actionable insights that deliver ROI. Networking/Key relationships Critical to be able to build relationships based in trust within the organization as the function is to respond to the internal customer needs while taking into consideration the overall corporate strategy. Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: We expect that you have experience with: Power BI, Qlik or other dashboarding software SAP tools used in Werfen related to Sales, Finance or HR We will consider it an advantage if you also have familiarity with any of the following: SQL Good knowledge of any programming language like Python Microsoft Azure cloud computing Familiarity with DataOps principles Familiar with Agile methodologies Git software versioning Skills & Capabilities: We expect you to demonstrate proficiency in data analysis and have a keen interest in understanding your business domain. We will also need you to be able to communicate data concepts to non-technical colleagues. You are fluent in English both orally and in writing. You have good presentation skills. You can communicate well within the team and with stakeholders. You can analyze business requirements in dialogue with internal stakeholders. You can collaborate directly with external consultants and vendors. You are a team player willing to share knowledge, ideas, and banter.
