This role involves working on an exciting project for one of our key clients in the banking sector in Madrid (Hybrid).
Responsabilities.
Knowledge and experience in settling fixed income and equities corporate actions Analyze, monitor, and verify incoming corporate action information and counterparty claims on all events (i.
..
voluntary and mandatory events).
Initiate payments.
Evaluating and reconcile the company's books and records with clearinghouses and banks Identifying all eligible holders, develop and ensure to distribute notifications related to corporate market events complex in nature Resolving all discrepancies, ensure to take action on everyday matters as well as inquiries from all external clients plus internal departments.
Ensuring to escalate more complicated issues complying procedures to assure timeliness and processing accuracy.
Interacting with customers and varied departments on all routine matters as well as inquires.
Required Skills and Qualifications Supporting with varied related duties as needed for ad hoc reports or projects (high level knowledge in Excel and Access is needed) Interpreting and manage controls and risks within all group functions.
Conveying and manage entire event deadlines with customers both external as well as internal.
Ensuring to reconcile SWIFT MT564/MT566 (notifications) as received from global custodian versus positions held at back-office systems.
Expert in Corporate Action swift messaging.
Head responsibility to manage claim process to providers of company stock lender on customer’s behalf having borrowed positions over ex-date/record date to enhance relations with clients.
Conveying necessary instructions to all customers.
Monitoring and record entire instructions received of corporate event from stock lender to company.
Manage Proxy Voting service with all custodians as needed by customers.
Knowledge in Tax recovery High level in English and Spanish.
