The Assistant Bar Manager leads a multicultural team and oversees shipboard beverage operations for most bars/lounges, outlets, and crew bar areas to achieve the best level of guest satisfaction and revenue.
As an Assistant Beverage Manager aboard our cruise ships, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests experience, exceptional beverage service that enhances their Cruise journey, elevating the experience through a wide range of beverages, from refreshing cocktails to fine wines.
You will support the Beverage Manager in maintaining company standards of service and managing a team of professionals to deliver quality and efficiency in a frenetic environment.

Your Impact As a key member of the onboard team, you will have a direct impact on the guest satisfaction scores, the quality of service, and the efficiency of beverage operations.

Your Journey So Far We are looking forward for a candidate with.
1.
Proven and recent onboard experience as an Assistant Beverage Manager.
2.
Your journey should include practical experience in beverage operations, leadership, inventory control, and guest service.
3.
You should be comfortable in a high-volume, dynamic environment and have a proven history of maintaining standards of quality while managing operational demands.
4.
Ideally, your career has included time spent in a cruise line giving you a solid understanding of what it takes to succeed in this role.
5.
Experience in multinational team management and customer service excellence will also set you apart.
Your Essentials To be selected in this role, you need to have the following characteristics.
1.
Previous experience as an Assistant Bar Manager aboard a cruise ship (Min 2 contracts) 2.
Fluent English, oral and written.
Any additional European language is an advantage (Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish and French) 3.
Solid knowledge of beverage operations, including bar management, inventory control, and financials.
4.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate others.
5.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, attention to details and problem solving 6.
Ability to work in a frenetic, constantly evolving environment.
