YOUR MISSION Glovo keeps growing day after day, that's why we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Associate Director, Global Labour Counsel that will work with HQ Legal Team.
THE JOURNEY Manage a local team of 8 people Evaluate the risks associated with the business model and ensure appropriate procedures to mitigate them are implemented balancing business needs.
Assist the operations department in adapting the business model to local regulations.
Create and implement internal company policies in compliance with local labor regulations balancing business needs.
Leadership in the labour strategy of the Group.
Leadership in the definition in the Legal and People department of the labour relations strategy nationally and internationally.
Management of the relationship, agreements and negotiations with the different Works Councils of the company.
Compliance with all labour compliance (Equality Plan, Anti-harassment Protocol, etc).
Escalate critical matters to senior management Get your hands dirty – when there is a problem, you will find a way to fix it WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE At least years of working experience as in-house legal counsel or in a reputed law firm Law Bachelor Degree.
Technical specialization in labour and employment law Excellent English and Spanish.
Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Expertise in analysis and implementation of strategy balancing business needs.
Leadership and excellent people management skills.
Proven ability to work in a multinational context.
Proven experience working with senior management.
Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, high impactful scope, results-oriented, fast execution.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Hardworking, problem solver, organized, energetic, proactive.
Tech or industry experience  Individuals representing diverse profiles, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas.
