ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – ENTERPRISE DATA PLANNING

This role is based in  Barcelona, with an on-site commitment of three days a week.

With a commitment to working on-site three days a week, you'll be at the heart of our Enterprise Data Office (EDO), driving data strategy and optimizing our enterprise data portfolio.
Collaborate with stakeholders across AstraZeneca to align data, technology, and processes, accelerating our data and AI strategy.
Partner with the IGNITE Business Operations and Transformation group to integrate operating model changes, ensuring we maximize value while managing risk.
Accountabilities 1.
Own the process and support the SEDO leaders in the creation, maintenance, and tracking of an ongoing data strategy for the company.
2.
Support the planning and execution phases of the enterprise data strategy under the guidance of the Head of the EDO, ensuring timely and correct progress in data strategy delivery.
3.
Develop and implement strategic planning processes for identifying and prioritizing data product/asset needs across different functional areas in the organization.
4.
Support alignment of Enterprise Data Strategy with related strategies including IT, emerging AI Strategy, and functional data strategies.
Essential Skills/Experience - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Data Management or STEM subject - 2-5 years experience in industry data management - Managerial experience in matrix orgs - Agile project management skills.
