ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

Job Description:We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join a luxury brand in Barcelona Paseo De Gracia on a full-time basis. As a Assistant Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support the Store Manager in driving category performance and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will supervise the sales team, providing guidance and coaching to achieve sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). Your role will also involve fostering collaboration between different teams on the selling floor, managing customer flow, and resolving customer issues.Responsibilities:Lead and inspire the sales team to enhance their selling skills and meet sales goals and KPIs.Collaborate with the Store Manager to drive sales for a specific category, including training the team on the assigned category.Manage a customer-facing team that is dedicated to providing outstanding service to our clients.Ensure efficient customer flow and set high service standards to deliver an excellent customer experience.Promote collaboration between sales associates, specialists, and the stock and operations team.Provide immediate coaching and feedback to the team after each transaction and client interaction, addressing both successes and opportunities.Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and retain talented employees through monthly development plans and annual performance reviews.Handle difficult customer issues and escalate them to management when necessary.Assume responsibilities such as processing post-void transactions, authorizing promotional discounts, and managing employee sales in the absence of store management.Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the business and effectively communicate ideas and needs to drive its growth.Qualifications:Previous experience as Manager/ Assistant Manager/ Team manager Possess commercial awareness and experience working towards sales-related KPIs.In-depth understanding of client expectations and the luxury service industry.Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to change.Fluency in English, Spanish and Catalan
