ARCHITECT ASSOCIATE OPENDEVICES

What's in it for you The individual in this position serves as a subject matter expert in OpenDevices, (including SmartTVs, Webportals, retail Android devices and more…) supporting Vodafone TV's client development endeavors.
They work closely with subject matter experts from various technology teams and the commercial team to devise customized solutions for OpenDevices.
These solutions play a pivotal role in achieving the roadmap goals within the comprehensive architecture of Vodafone TV.
What you’ll do Collaborate with our experienced TV architects to learn the ropes of Vodafone TV client design, Vodafone TV system architecture, and best practices Ownership of software architecture for OpenDevices in alignment with e2e architecture team Single point of contact of architecture guidance for development factories Definition and monitoring of KPIs regarding OpenDevice client’s performance and scalability Provide quality criteria and guidance to development factories Who you are You are a TV architect with proven track record of delivering TV clients on a large scale, or a talented developer with a passion for software design and architecture? Degree in Computer Science or a related field Confidence working with distributed and external development teams, using Agile /SAFE methodology Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices, and also of multimedia and streaming technologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow as a TV architect Strong communication and teamwork skills Portuguese and English language proficiency    Preferred qualifications.
Know-how on the following development environments.
Android (Kotlin/Kotlin MP), AndroidTV on SmartTVs and media players, Tyzen and WebOS (HTML5), iOS / tvOS (Swift), HTML5 video  Know-how on the following technologies and formats.

, ISOBFF, MPEG2-TS, WebP and SVG  Experience with Javascript, React Native, JSON, XML, Postman, Swift, ABR, DASH, HLS and CMAF   Experience with designs and frameworks on areas such as security, software performance optimization and hardening, authentication, and authorization Experience with issue tracking tools such as Atlassian JIRA and with documentation management tools such as Atlassian Confluence  Experience on mobile, WiFi, and fixed network technologies  Demonstrated experience working in SAFE/AGILE environments  Good documentation creation capability and knowledge transfer  Proactive and capable of leading initiatives for continuous improvement  Design pattern driven and capable of establishing new design patterns  Focus on user experience  Who we are We pursue equality of opportunity and inclusion for all candidates through our employment policies and practices.
