AP SPECIALIST (SHORT-TERM CONTRACT)

Process and record expense reports from employees to identify discrepancies and escalate in appropriate manner. Preparation of journal entries (JE), as well as reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Vendor payments and prepayment posting. Assists with the resolution of discrepancies so invoices are paid timely. Assistance during the generation of vendor payment as well as T&E employees payment runs. Supports in transactions that include urgent payment orders that requires immediate resolution. Reconcile vendor statements. Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports / daily assistance to the Accounts Payable Team Leader. Demonstrates a strong sense of individual accountability and deep team spirit. Support the team on general ledger and transaction processing functions to ensure efficient and accurate general ledger close each period. Provide backup and coverage for other team members as needed. QualificationsBachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance. Minimum 2 years experience in public accounting. NetSuite (Oracle) experience a plus. Capacity to understand and critically assess financial business process. Ability to partner with businesses and communicate effectively with all levels of the Nexthink organization. Proficiency in English required.
