entral Operations (CO) refers to a new approach within Amazon Logistics (AMZL) to define a scalable solution to run the increasingly complex and growing last mile delivery network.
CO is a key strategic initiative with a vision to transform the way AMZL executes forecasting, route planning, demand scheduling and last mile delivery.
CO was created in and since then it has been copied and benchmarked in six regions across the world.
As results we have different organizations working on similar ways to achieve same objectives.
In EU CO started a new team which will be focused on the long-term plan for WW CO teams and ensure we all have the same north start as part of the SPS alignments and delivered via the key technologies develop.
We are looking for a WWPP Project Manager that will coordinate the key projects across the different CO teams.
This person will be the connection between CO OPS teams and Tech teams and SMEs which will deliver the final product.
Also, this person will be in charge to gather all inputs from Ops to build the Business Requirements Design (BRD) to achieve the right first-time design and easier implementation of the tools.
WWPP Project Manager will own the projects until the User Acceptance Test (UAT) will be signed off by business and the pilot will be completed.
Then s/he will partner with local BA to complete the deployment and build the mechanism to include the tool/process into the BAU operations.

ou will be accountable for WW Projects delivering improvements across different functions and coordinating inputs and outputs from multiple POC on each initiative.
You will be responsible for driving project scoping, BRD definition together with SMEs, roll out, monitoring and reporting updates to CO leadership.
Key job responsibilitiesCO WWPP Tenets:- Standardize the processes and metrics within Central Operations across the world.
We will work with WW Functional SLT to define the current Value Stream Mapping (VSM) in each region and define what should be the end state for each function/process.
This will become the 3-year plan for us to work toward in all new projects we will cooperate with Tech team.- Own the coordination of SPS deliverables from the moment that they are defined.
WW PMO will ensure that each project is in line with the north start for WW standardization and will create the BRDs with all region’s requirements and approved by the region directors.
- WW PMO will work with AMZL LT to define the prioritization of the launch of each project to enable successful launches with the right tech support, starting from the region /country where business would benefit the most.
- Each project will have a team chart with the corresponding POC from Tech team, regional BA and operations POC and the WW Functional SLT.
More details in section Team Structure- For quarterly reviews and F2F workshop WW PMO team will present a project overview with a PTG review on projects not in green and use the global attendance to review HDT.
- Lead the standardized design of new services (SD, SWA, AMXL, Hub DP) across all regions to start from beginning with a common goal.
Even though at regional level BA team will have the flexibility to adapt it to meet specific requirements not considered in the BRD.
The local deployments will be led by CO Technical Integration teams.- Define what is the ideal structure for CO teams (services provided per team) including the Roles and Responsibilities.
We aim to optimize and streamline operations and tools usage in all regions.
- Maintain Day 1 culture while standardizing the tools and processes keeping as objective the long-term plan.
- Will not own local or regional projects that were not aligned as part of SPS and that do not have a common goal.
