Job Title.
Accounting Officer Research area or group.
Finance department Main Tasks and responsibilities.
Monthly closings External reports (statistics, regional government, board members, etc.) Audits.
annual audit of the center + support for audits and grant justifications (for the Finance Department) Process oversight (new entries, exits) and cost control (forecasts, actuals, and funding) for key budget items.

Education.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar Knowledge Accounting knowledge.
General Accounting Plan, KPIs, Balance Sheet, P&L, Regional Accounting Standards (CCAA), etc.
English.
Ability to communicate in English is essential.
Advanced Office skills.
Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Preferred.
Knowledge of Power BI.
Preferred.
Knowledge of SAP BO.
Professional Experience At least 2 years performing tasks relevant to the position.
Previous experience in Catalan research centers will be valued.
Advanced accounting knowledge will be valued.
Personal Competencies Proactive, analytical, and highly organized.
A team player with strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Able to present financial reports clearly and escalate issues effectively when needed.
