Led by a team seasoned in ESG, sustainability, and impact investing, CommonShare is dedicated to promoting responsible and efficient supply chain practices globally.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team, who will be instrumental in nurturing and expanding our relationships with retailers and brands dedicated to sustainable procurement practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with a robust background in B2B account management, who can effectively collaborate with clients to achieve their sustainability objectives.ResponsibilitiesClient Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and sustainability goals.Account Strategy: Develop clear plans to manage an active customer portfolio, ensuring clients receive tailored solutions that enhance their supply chain management processes.Customer Success: Act as the primary point of contact and build deep partnerships with key business executives and stakeholders. Identify and close alignment gaps in customer organizations to advance their sustainability agendas.Sales Targets: Achieve account penetration targets and account objectives defined by company leadership. Execute detailed account development plans to ensure revenue growth from existing clients.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales operations, and product teams to communicate account forecasts, provide insights into customer needs, and drive the product roadmap.Problem Resolution: Address complex client issues and concerns, demonstrating a strategic approach to solving their problems and turning challenges into opportunities.Market Insights: Keep abreast of market trends and competitive activities, and provide feedback to the company on market and creative trends.Performance Metrics: Measure and report on the success of initiatives and assess areas for improvement based on KPIs and client feedback.Sustainability Advocacy: Champion the importance of sustainable supply chain practices, influencing clients towards more sustainable procurement methods.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 3-5 years in account management, specifically in a B2B setting, dealing with complex customer relationships. Experience in sustainability, supply chain, or a related field is highly preferred.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
