Internship as a design engineer/structural engineer
Ultramagic
mar 2018 - ago 2018
Responsible for the CAD design of a hot air balloon single burner using Siemens NX.
Responsible for the update of CAMO documents.
Responsible for the structural analysis of inflatables against wind gusts.
Systems integration Engineer/structural engineer
Nanosat Lab (UPC)
jul 2017 - feb 2018
Responsible for the integration of the different subsystems of a 1U Cubesat, the 3Cat-4, for the ESA Fly Your Satellite! programme. This role involved the CAD design of some of the mechanical components required in the satellite as well as the integration of the different subsystems and the actualisation of the list of components and Bill of Materials. For the CAD design SolidWorks was used.

Responsible for the Structural analyses of the Cubesat using ANSYS. The analyses included a Modal analysis, a Shock Response Spectrum analysis and a frequency sweep analysis.
Formación
MSc in Aerospace Vehicle Design
Cranfield University
feb 2019 - feb 2020
A master focused on the structural design of aircrafts. The different modules cover the different steps of aeroplane structural design from the Initial Aircraft Design, to more in detail stages such as Aeroelasticiy, Aircraft Stability and Control, Design and Analysis of Composite structures, Detail Stressing (hand calculations), Finite Element Analysis (using Nastran/Patran), CAD design (using Catia v5), Fracture Mechanics and Damage Tolerance.

Besides the taught courses, the master gives us the opportunity to participate in two main hands-on experience projects. The Group Design Project (GDP), and the Individual Research Project (IRP).
For both projects, the CAD modelling part and the structural analyses were of paramount importance. The GDP consisted of the design of a supersonic Business Jet, and I was responsible for the structural/mechanical design of the Trailing Edge High Lift Devices (flaps).
For the IRP I designed a mechanical system for a Morphing wing in a Blended Wing Body UAV.
BSc in Aerospace Vehicle Engineering
UPC Barcelona Tech
sep 2013 - ene 2018
Engineering bachelor that covered from basic engineering knowledge (Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Programming, Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, CAD Design using Solidworks and Catia, electronics...) to more specific knowledge applied to the aerospace industry such as aircraft design, aerospace structure design and analysis, flight mechanics and aerodynamics.
For my thesis, I worked on the project 3Cat4 inside the ESA FlyYourSatellite!, where I was the integration responsible and structural engineer of a 1U Cubesat.
