• Conducted tours in costume: 2 hour walking tours around town in rain, wind, or sun and 20 minute tours inside historic brothel museum; done for patrons from cruise ships and land-based tourists, groups as small as 2 and as large as 65; could run up to eight tours a day 
• Discussed prostitution and women’s roles during the Klondike Gold Rush, as well as history’s impact on present day policies and global issues, included a talk on the impact of human trafficking in the modern world • Worked as a team to ensure tours ran smoothly in a high-paced environment 
• Answered guests’ questions and conducted personal research through the season to update tour interpretation 
• Prepared food and beverage set-ups for groups up to 250; acquired Alaskan food and alcohol certification

• Presented information on all available international work, study, and internship programs to university, high school, and technical school students; as well as general public (groups from 1 to 100+)

Williamsburg, Virginia, United States of America
• Through thorough research, learned the history, crafts, and everyday tasks of the Powhatan Indians. Included: how to make traditional houses, baskets, bone and stone tools; cook in clay pots in the ground; tan animal hides 
• Informed/demonstrated the above to visitors while in costume; typically hundreds of people daily; also gave museum tours – was able to discuss sensitive topics as well as pre-Colonial sustainable life practices 
• Interacted with people of all ages from around the world, including multiple school groups (elementary through high school); received continuous positive feedback from visitors 
• My picture was featured in the November 2016 issue of Williamsburg Magazine to represent the museum during their "Foods and Feasts of Colonial Virginia" event; museum had government and private stakeholders

Williamsburg, Virginia, United States of America
• Built (cut and sewed), repaired, altered, and cleaned myriad of costumes used in entertainment productions for the European themed amusement park (typically 4-6 productions a season - over 100 performers each season) 
• Co-workers ranged in age (from 21 to 85) and background (from Thailand, Greece, the Southern US, etc) and got along with all of them; received an understanding of jobs around the theme park through contacts in other depts 
• Organized the workroom and storage rooms regularly - from thousands of costumes to safety-pin distribution

Pahoa, Big Island, Hawaii, United States of America
• Harvested the center's organic garden; helped with mulching and started growing plants from seeds; used a machete to cut coconuts and other large fruits; was taught how to grow, prepare, and conserve food 
• Lived communally in an open-air home-made cabin, spent most of my time outside and learned how to use a composting toilet, as well as how to function with little to no electricity; worked outside rain or shine 
• Learned how to care for chickens, sheep, cows, and pigs; also learned permaculture, Korean natural chicken farming, and aquaponics methods 
• Looked after children

Radiance of the Seas Cruise Ship - Alaska, Hawaii, French Polynesia, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia
• Used microphone to inform passengers of daily events and specials in the shops; led daily promotions 
• Set up, presented, and took down promotional events for passengers; received good name comments consistently 
• Interacted with people from around the world and communicated nonverbally when needed 
• Worked 7 days a week for a 6.5-month contract, 8 - 16 hours a day. Had 4 days off within that time • Oversaw 3 of my peers during set-up, shop hours, and break-down 
• Kept track of stock, re-stocked, helped with palette deliveries, participated in formal inventory process 
• Nominated for Employee of the Month with Royal Caribbean (Sept.) and Starboard (Sept.)

• Managed a team of four actors while performing a role myself in seasonal “haunted house” attraction 
• Was responsible for the safety of patrons and handling of emergency situations in my area of the attraction 
• Created team-driven scenes with my peers in order to provide more enjoyment for patrons; also read the emotions of patrons as they came through the zone and reacted accordingly

• Created and updated displays, took pictures for the store Facebook; kept the store tidy and clean
