Responsible for the execution of conceptual, basic and detailed engineering. 

Responsibilities include: interaction with clients, vendors, other discipline leaders and project managers, planning of activities and review of documents, datasheets and vendor’s proposals.

Experience in the execution of Equipment’s Datasheets, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Mass and Energy Balances, Process Simulations (HYSYS, PRO II, PIPEPHASE, INPLANT, ETC), Thermal Balances and Line list.

The following experiences in projects stand out:

-	Study to update the thermal balances and hydraulic calculations of a cogeneration plant (180 T/h of steam and 270 MW) - Mexico. Process Leader responsible for the elaboration of thermal balances, the supervision of the hydraulic calculations development and the interaction with vendors (GE, Siemens, etc) for review of equipment conditions and documentation. 

-	Basic and Detail Engineering for a 6 MM STD gal/year oil re-refining plant - USA. Process Leader responsible of the execution and review of engineering deliverables: equipment and instruments datasheets, process simulation, PFD and P&ID.

-	Basic and Detail Engineering for a 1,500 BPSD naphtha fractionation facility to obtain solvents - Colombia. Process Leader responsible for execution of simulations and review of documents such as: equipment and instruments datasheets and vendor’s proposals, mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, etc. 

-	Basic and Detail Engineering for the installation of a tank yard for storage of light fuels in Colombia (38,000 BBL + 56,000 BBL). Process Leader responsible for the coordination of the work of the engineers and the review of documents: equipment and instruments datasheets, vendor’s proposals, PFDs, P&IDs, line list, etc.  

-	Conceptual Engineering design for the installation of a 40,000 MT / year lubricating oil plant - Colombia. Process Leader responsible for the preparation of documents required for engineering execution (mass balance, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment list, etc) as well as the review of the vendor documentation. 

-	Basic and Detail Engineering for a pilot plant for an extra-heavy crude upgrading plant using a new technology - Colombia.  Process Engineer executing hydraulic calculations considering non-Newtonian behavior.

Responsible for processes design in proposals and engineering projects, interacting with clients and other disciplines, attending Proposals and Business Development Units and developing procedures, among other activities. 

Participation in the following projects:

-	Detail Engineering for  the conversion to combined cycle of the existing Steam Turbines at a 700 MW facility.  The activities include the development of thermal balances and the interaction with vendors (GE, Alstom, etc) for review of the new equipment’s process specification and general documentation.

-	Basic and Detail Engineering for a production facility, including the development of required deliverables to install a new production facility with 70,000 BPD capacity. Responsible for the relief system sizing (relief valves, relief header, KO-Drum and Vent Stack), Process Flow Diagrams and Hydraulic calculations. 

-	Basic Engineering for a existing Refinery. Execution of field survey, relief valves sizing and hydraulic calculations for the relief systems of the distillation units.

Basis to the PMI (Project Management Institute) methodology in order to improve the Project Management by using proved best practices.

Study of different resources being impacted by industry in order to have a correct management of environmental issues, including water, air and residues management.
