 Process Leader for Takreer (Abu Dhabi Refinery Co.) Borouge Refinery expansion project EPC BID, the scope
included the biggest ARDS licensed by Chevron Lummus Global. Engineering services above 500 MUSD.

EPCM Lead process engineer for Amman Strategic Petroleum Product Terminal at Amman, Jordan. New terminal
with more than 250,000 m3 of storage capacity and fifteen Truck Loading Bays. Dynamic simulation was developed
in order to support maximum throughput of pumps and optimize operations in order to satisfy Country Emergency
Scenario required by owner (Minister of Energy Resources and Minerals). Also responsible for DCS design based
on ANS/ISA 88.1 Batch Control. Attend HAZID, HAZOP and P&ID review.
 Year of execution 2011-2014, CAPEX 130 MMUSD, Client: VOPAK (NL) / Scope: EPC.
Lead process engineer for Vopak new Hydrocarbon Terminal at Algeciras, Spain. New terminal with more than
500,000 m3 of storage capacity and three new berths. Special dynamic simulation was developed in order to
support maximum throughput of pumps and minimize the number of headers in order to achieve the operation
flexibility required by owner. Responsible for the DCS based on ANS/ISA 88.1 Batch Control and performance test
until preliminary facilities acceptance. Attend HAZID, HAZOP and P&ID review.
The terminal includes Compressed Air and Nitrogen Systems, raw and potable water treatment systems as well as
oily and rain water treatment and disposal, Slops and odour control system as well as Hot Oil close loop system with
diesel heaters.
 Year of execution 2010, CAPEX 150 MMUSD, Client Pluspetrol / Scope: EPC.
Simulation leader for Pisco Gas plant second expansion project, include fractionation and topping unit as well as
surge control tune-up for refrigeration compressors and hot oil heaters. Technical leader for process performance
guarantee. Attend HAZID, HAZOP and P&ID review.
 Process Leader for PEMEX ULSD Refinería General Lázaro Cárdenas de Minatitlán, however due to OHL issues
with country government the Project was reassigned to Tecnicas Reunidas.

by the company. Responsible for all project performance guarantee and technical claim engineer.
