Projects: Involved in projects and modifications for the onshore Kårstø Plant from Early phase studies, Feasibility, Concept design selection, FEED, EPC, Execution and Completion, as well as Operations and Maintenance activities, and Decommissioning. These projects include Johan Sverdrup Power from Onshore, Gudrun Onshore Modification (GOM), KEP2010 Utility Upgrade including upgrade of steam boilers and plant instrumentation, Gas contamination removal study at Etzel gas storage plant in Germany, Plant gas chromatograph upgrade, Electric gas turbine equipment decommissioning feasibility study, Plant process increase capacity studies, Water oxygen removal and conditioning unit concept study, Plant fire process safety study, plant insulation modification including heat tracing evaluation, gas contamination and removal study at Etzel gas storage facilities in Germany, and so on. In Operations and Maintenance: Process technical clarifications and improvement proposals for the plant’s systems such as Gas pressure letdown stations,  Glycol, Mercury, H2S and CO2 removal units, Gas dehydration, Gas extraction and sales including turbo expanders, compressors, and distillation and fractionation columns for NGLs extraction, HC liquid product storage and recovery, Flare Systems, and Utility facilities such as Steam boilers, Chemical injection, Air and Nitrogen Systems, Fire Gas Systems, Water and cooling supply systems, hot oil and tempered water circuits, and loading and unloading facilities. 
Responsibilities: Project and modification detail process design development and execution, and Operations and Maintenance technical support using: Statoil Project and Management Systems, Technical Organizational Requirements and Guidelines (TORG and GL) and application of International Standards such as NORSOK, Ptil, API, ISO, ANSI, BS, and TR2000. HAZID, HAZOP, Layer of protection analysis (LOPA) participation and reviews for process safety and risk identification, analysis and management during project and modification phases and studies. Steady state and dynamic simulations using HYSYS, PROII, PVT Sim, Flarenet. Design, review and development of P&IDs, UFDs and PFD including updates with tie-in points, process datasheets and line list reports, project reports, memorandums, technical clarifications, review vendor equipment technical documentation, etc. Execution of hydraulic calculations such as pipe pressure drop, sizing evaluation of equipment, such as compressors, heat exchangers, coolers, control and safety valves, filters, dehydrators, etc., for increasing plant capacity  and for process optimization. Function as technical support provider to operation for the Kårstø Gas Processing Plant and Etzel gas storage plant in Germany. I delivered satisfactory early phase studies reports delivered to project and modification leaders and main client Gassco. Leading Statoil technical disciplines and supporting engineering contractors such as Aibel, Amec foster wheeler, ABB, KBR for achieving project deliverables within budget and schedule as well as continuous improvement on results for project learning purposes. Contributed to updates for operational system manuals for plant operations.

Projects: Statoil ASA, KEP2010 Utility and Instrumentation upgrade for the Kårstø onshore plant
Responsibilities: Process database and quality check and approval of process safety documentation such as P&ID, UFD, PFD, process datasheets according to Statoil project requirements (TORG) and technical multidiscipline requirements. SPP&ID System Administrator, detail engineering on P&ID and Hydraulic calculations and process safety valve dimensioning, flow assurance and surge analysis and checker performed based on KBR standards and API, ISO, ANSI and Client’s Technical requirements.  All deliverables were approved by Statoil in time and budget with customer satisfaction.
