English teacher/language or speaking assistant

Working as an English language teacher in a private academy in Tarragona. The tasks involved are working with students to learn and improve the English language. Teaching a syllabus structured course to a wide variety of ages and levels. Preparing students for the Cambridge examinations. Working in companies teaching business English through speaking. Mostly applying the principle skills of reading, writing,listening, speaking, vocabulary and grammar, through a wide range of methods. Using the experience gained since first becoming a teacher of English to non-native speakers. Preparing and executing lesson plans tailored to meet students needs which are dependent on their level, age and personal objectives with the language. Giving classes to students whose sole focus is on the improvement of speaking, ensuring that the topics are interlinked with previously covered subjects, to ensure a crossover and continuation in the learning process, through a wide variety of speaking games, projects, presentations, all the while trying to ensure and instill confidence and fluency in the sessions. In both structured and non-structured syllabus courses.

Currently in the process of completing an online TEFL course through one of the most established and distinguished TEFL training centers in the world. Although I have a lot of experience in teaching English as a foreign language, I fell that on completion of this course, I will have increased knowledge and skill, which will transfer to the students. 

Distance Learning for a Bachelor of Arts degree in European Studies with Spanish and economics. Having achieved the diploma title in the course. The subjects consist of a wide variety of subjects, from European history, politics, institutional law on the European studies side. The Spanish element of the course consists of the Spanish language at an increasing level each semester and the second part is on the history of Spain and it's culture. The Economics component which is the focus of the major includes a mathematical focus and qualitative approach to problem solving in the world.
