Customer service agent

I am an art specialist, working on board of cruise ships. My main job goal is find the perfect t artwork for every guest. The job involves great sales skills, overcoming objections and finding a unique approach to every single customer. The price of artworks ranges from $50 to $625,000 (woodcuts by Albert Dürer). This job has allowed me to take my sales skills to the next level and learn how to overcome objections. I have worked on board Norwegian Pearl and Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas.

In June 2018, I have travelled to Caribbean Princess cruise ship to start my job as an Ionithermist. This job has been the most rewarding job I have ever done. I have developed more as a person, become even more confident, stronger, learning how to deal with different types of customers and finding unique approach to every single one of them. My retail skills have also improved. 

I have started working at Skin Deep Beauty Salon in Headingley in January as a beauty Therapist. This job has allowed me to improve my skills in customer service and beauty therapy. I have learned new treatments such as Skin Base Microdermabrasion. 

In beginning of December I have started a part time job as a Barista. As a Barista, my duties include to serve customers on the till, handle cash and return correct change. I also make drinks according to the order that comes through. Apart from till and making drinks, I also do cleaning jobs when needed. 

In August 2017, I was promoted to a supervisor at Springfield Day Spa. As a supervisor, my duties are to continue to deliver excellent customer service to my clients. My reception management duties have expanded with the new role. It was my duty to do end of day banking everyday and make sure that the cash and card payments matched the system. It is also my duty to interview and train new members of staff. Junior members of staff report to me before every shift, and I monitor their work and customer service. 

As a beauty therapist, my duties were to greet clients in professional manner and escort them to their treatment. I also managed the reception area. I was the first person the clients came in contact with. I would always greet clients with a smile and engage in a professional and friendly conversation. I am always keen to deliver excellent customer service. At the reception, my duties were to answer the phone calls, book or change clients’ appointments via Treatwell booking system, manage the payments and look after the clients.

This role was a completely different experience compare to Passenger Service Agent. It was very sales based. We had personal target and shop target to reach in sales every day. This job definitely improved my customer service skills. I have learned how to be more of a sales person and I improved my working under pressure skills. My main duties and responsibilities included processing cash and card payments, and dealing with customer refunds.

My main duties and responsibilities are to check in passengers and baggage using computer systems and airline procedures in a compliance with Department for Transport (DfT), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). When dealing with passengers in departures and arrivals, my role is to escort boarding and disembarking passengers in compliance with the requirements of statutory bodies such as HM Customs, HM Immigration, Police and Special Branch. I am a team player as I communicate with flight dispatch, security, ground services and fire services to make ensure on time departure of the aircraft. My other duty is to provide assistance to customers in case of a delay or cancellation and any passengers who require assistance such as disabled, unaccompanied minors and the elderly

I was a Food and Beverage Assistant at Queen’s Hotel as a part of work experience and later an employment. It was one of most interesting experiences of my career as it allowed me to improve my customer service. In addition, I learned how to multitask and work under pressure. It was a very fast paced environment where every minute counted. My responsibilities were to prepare and carry out food and beverage service to my guests in courteous and efficient manner. 

When I was 15,I have started working at Chester’s Bistro in Halifax as a waitress. It was my first job and it gave me a very good taste of what is customer service like and how to deal with different customers in different situations.

Trained as a Ionithermist to work in the spa on board of cruise ships. I have also been rained in sales. 

I have studied for 2 years at Yorkshire College of Beauty as a Beauty Therapist
