What is the purpose of this role? To assist the team in all relevant projects and activities to meet Amey and client objectives and needs. Working as part of a team, you will acquire a portfolio of technical knowledge and transferable skills that will give you a wide choice of careers options. You will undertake work of a technical nature that falls within the ability and competence of a graduate and work within a team to manage existing projects and help deliver new schemes which meet the business objectives. What will this role involve? • Assist in the delivery of the requirements of allocated projects • Assist in the investigation, detailed design and implementation of improvement replacement, maintenance of high-profile Rail projects • Assist in the management and monitoring of the budget for projects • Help maintain good working relationships with the Client and other interested parties • Assist with project planning, programming, cost control and administration • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation through the design and work stages • Support the preparation of bids and delivery of services on other contracts, when required • Assist in the implementation of effective, value for money and innovative design solutions • Report on programme delivery, resources and budgets What are we looking for? • Degree qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Systems Engineering or other related field • CAD or Microstation Experience • BIM experience preferred • Hard-working, determined, focused individuals • Someone with a passion for working within the Rail industry • Someone who has a vision for improving the use of technology within engineering What makes this role unique?
