VENDORS QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER. ELECTRICAL&INSTRUMENTATION

We also participate in projects related to hydrogen, biomass, biofuels, decarbonisation, artificial intelligence, digitization.The sustainable growth, decarbonization and energy transition are the concepts that represent our culture.Our high level of professionalism and commitment drive us to a permanent research to improve efficiency and sustainability and always in compliance with the law and aligned with the highest ethical standards.We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer, with the speciality of Electrical&Instrumentation, for our Inspection Department, depending on Procurement Area for EPC projects.Quality Control Engineer has responsibilities of reviewing all Vendor manufacturing documents (e.g. Manufacturing Purchase Specification, Inspection and Test Plan, Welding Dossier, Test Procedures, NDE Procedures) to assure that they comply with Design and Manufacturing Codes and Standards and with specific Project Specifications. He reports to Procurement QC Manager (Project) and to the Head of Quality Control Engineers section (Corporate).Key Tasks and Responsibilities:• Review of Project Specifications (Manufacturing, quality Control). Detection of inconsistencies, ambiguous interpretation or unusual requirements that could impact on price or Schedule.• Review and comment all Vendor manufacturing documents of the assigned Purchase Orders (e.g. Reactors, Columns, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Fired Heaters, Reformers, Package Units, Piping Material). Main documents are: Welding Dossier, Inspection and Test Plan, Manufacturing Purchase Specification, Heat Treatment Procedure, Hydro/Leak/Pneumatic Test Procedure, Visual/Dimensional Control Procedure, Ferrite Test Procedure, Hardness Test Procedure, PMI Procedure, etc.• Issue Technical Queries/Deviation Request to the Client when needed.• Support to the Project Inspection Team in NCR resolution, and to all matters related to manufacturing of equipment/material.• To have a fluent communication with Vendors in order to assure that Vendor understand all comments and Project requirements, with the aim to achieve a smooth manufacturing process.• Effective communicator and desired to have problem solving skills.To develop these responsabilities the candidate will need:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer will be an asset.• 5+ years’ experience in quality control of manufacturing and welding processes of electrical & instrumentation components. Experience in producing/reviewing manufacturing and quality documents.• Deep knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, NACE Codes.• Experienced in most used materials in Oil & Gas industry (Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, Austenitic Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel, Ni Alloys, etc.)The following qualification will be a plus:• API Certifications (936, 570, 571, SIFE)• Experience in PQR Qualification.Based in Madrid, will be required availability to geographical mobility.We offer:Very interesting and key EPC projects within oil&gas/energy sector.Flexible time table, one two/week remote work.Competitive salary depending on experience.
