Job Description SO/ Sotogrande, a luxurious resort located in the beautiful Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Alto Café Supervisor to join our team.
As the Alto Café Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our upscale café, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in food and beverage service.
Manage and supervise the café staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly Oversee food and beverage preparation, presentation, and quality control Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs while maintaining appropriate stock levels Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately Collaborate with other departments to support overall resort operations and guest satisfaction Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise in the café efficiently and professionally Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area at all times Oversee the sale of golf products in the golf store Oversee golf reservations Provide information on course rules, promotions and events.
Coordinate with marshals, caddy masters and golf instructors on course operations as needed.
Qualifications Proven experience as a café supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and current café trends Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food service Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management and organizational skills Fluency in English; and Spanish  Food safety certification is highly desirable Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment is a significant advantage Additional Information Attractive incentive plan.
