Technician Facilities & Maintenance     Main Purpose.
This position is responsible for all daily maintenance and facilities activities at the sites, as well as for the prevention of the facilities, machinery and tools that exist at the Sites such as carrying out routine maintenance procedures and helping to quickly troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical problem that arises in the processes of the site and in the equipment, as well as in the support systems of the company's facilities Key deliverables include.
(i) Flawless and timely execution of facility-related tasks; (ii) ensure the proper implementation and maintenance of the innovative solutions in the stations, (iii) Productivity guarantee.
Maintain facilities and equipment in good operating condition.
Key tasks and responsabilities.
Provide the support in equipment maintenance and automation of process in the green house and post-harvest processes Execute successful planning of all facility related task and ensure proper execution.
Ensure compliance of HSE procedures and regulations regarding equipment and maintenance Inspect buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they meet health and safety standards Perform maintenance on electrical systems (replacing light bulbs and sockets, cleaning and repairing circuit breaker panels, etc.) Assist in the installation of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems, as well as make repairs when necessary.
Maintain heating and plumbing to ensure functionality Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when necessary.
Perform general maintenance procedures (eg, landscaping) and other assigned tasks (painting, carpentry, etc.) Responsible electrical Maintenance in designing, installing, operating and maintaining low and medium voltage electrical systems to support production processes in accordance with current regulations.
Perform maintenance on electrical systems Responsible for Industrial maintenance in charge of conserving the continuous operation of the facilities, machinery and equipment involved in the productive / operational process on the site Inspect buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
Inspect alarm systems, such as carbon dioxide and fire protection, and quickly schedule repairs when necessary Prepare a preventive, corrective maintenance plan.
Establish Objectives, Define key performance indicators, Make an inventory of assets, Establish a budget, Analyze available technology, Manage the contracts for maintenance and utilities (gas, gasoline, water, electricity) Respond quickly in an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow security protocol Have 24 hours responsibility, in order to guarantee a perfect execution in all process according to the maintenance Available to work outside business hours if needed for Crop care and if (technical) problems occur and participate in the technical emergency service.
Responsible for the maintenance planning (BopV5) of buildings, assets and grounds via the PS Maintenance department if applicable Carrying out minor repair work under the heading of Sufficiently Trained Person from NEN in The Netherlands Key working relations.
Operations, Testing, Breeding Administration Breeding Technology HSE, Sustainability, IT Suppliers   Qualifactions & Competencies Technician in Electricity and Mechanics.
High school degree or equivalent; Possession of the certificate in air conditioning systems, technology for building maintenance or in a field related to agriculture will be valued Demonstrable experience as a maintenance technician Knowledge of general maintenance methods and processes Professional knowledge of tools as well as common devices and appliances Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Capacity to communicate and work effectively with all management levels in a multi-cultural organization.
