TAX MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Tax and Risk Manager to join our finance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee all tax implications and risk management activities across BlueFloat's operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax planning and compliance, risk management, and a proactive approach to addressing potential tax and risk-related issues.BlueFloat is a leading renewable energy company committed to driving the global transition to sustainable energy solutions. You will join a dynamic and highly motivated team of energy professionals who have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in executing floating offshore wind projects.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Tax Structuring:Review and oversee all tax implications on potential domestic and cross-border transactions, including the establishment of BlueFloat's presence in new geographies, negotiation of M&A and partnership transactions, and optimization of intercompany transactions.Providing recommendations on tax-efficient capital structures in the various countries where BlueFloat operates, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.2. Tax AdvisoryEvaluate the current international tax structure and recommend any changes or planning ideas that will optimize the structure.Providing tax advice to all BlueFloat subsidiaries and different business units of the Group.Supporting the finance area with technical aspects related to indirect taxes and provide advice in international indirect tax issues all around the world.Support the M&A team in the tax due diligence and tax review of transactional documents within the various geographies.Support key business initiatives with the modeling for financial impact of taxes.Assist in designing, implementing, and optimizing processes and policies in the Group to maximize the value expected.Lead the process to determine the eligible activities for the available incentives in the various geographies and work closely with the local teams to maximize and retain the value associated to them.Follow legislative changes in various geographies where the Group is present and monitor their respective impact in BlueFloat Group. Evaluate opportunities and risks and proactively bring forward proposals that create value.Transfer Pricing advisory.Review tax clauses of any document.3. Tax Compliance:Oversee and review tax filings and compliance activities performed by local advisors in each of the countries where BlueFloat operates.Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and compliance with all tax regulations.Control of the filing of planned tax deliverables/taxes.Keep up with new tax developments and ensure compliance with local rules and regulations.Ensure adherence to tax regulations while optimizing our compliance management system, liaising with external advisors, and overseeing tax reporting processes.Transfer Pricing documentation yearly coordination and review of update.4. Relationship Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for all Tax Authorities in the countries where BlueFloat operates, representing the company in tax-related matters and maintaining positive relationships with tax authorities.5. Tax Reporting:Prepare and review tax-related reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights into tax positions, liabilities, and strategies.6. Risk Management:Develop, implement, and monitor BlueFloat's Risk Management Program, identifying and mitigating potential risks across the organization.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and address risks related to financial, operational, and strategic activities.Bank Relationship Management: Become the primary contact point with local banks to stay fully up to date on treasury-related products available for BlueFloat.Training and Development: Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge in cash management practices and procedures.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred. Desirable Master´s degree in International Tax Management.Minimum of 5-7 years of previous experience in tax planning, tax structuring, tax compliance, and risk management roles.Languages: Proficiency in English is required; fluency in other languages is a plus.Strong knowledge of international tax laws and regulations, with experience in multiple jurisdictions.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work across cultures and with different geographies.SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive package available, commensurate with experience,Full coverage of health insurance (family included),Hybrid working scheme and flexible hours,Gympass,Cobee (flexible retribution card).
