🧑‍💼 Job Opportunity: Supply Chain Manager
We're seeking an exceptional Supply Chain Manager who oversee and manage our company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations, aiming to maximize process efficiency and productivity. You will work directly with the Head of Operations to sculpt the best supply chain scalable processes. This is not just a job; it's an opportunity to shape the heart and soul of our rapidly growing startup.
The role includes managing and executing purchasing strategies, supervising inventory controls, and improving the overall performance of the supply chain.
🎖 Key Requirements
Supply Chain Strategy Development: Ability to design and implement effective supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business goals and market demands.
Supplier Relationship Management: Skills in negotiating with suppliers and managing partnerships to ensure cost-efficiency, quality improvement, and reliable supply.
Inventory Management: Expertise in managing inventory levels strategically to balance between meeting demand and minimizing costs associated with excess inventory.
Logistics and Distribution: Knowledge of logistics processes including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
Demand Planning and Forecasting: Proficiency in forecasting techniques and demand planning to anticipate market needs and adjust supply chain practices accordingly.
Cost Management: Experience in identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
Risk Management: Ability to identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
Technology and Systems: Familiarity with supply chain management systems (like ERP, SCM software) to enhance process efficiency and provide accurate data for decision-making.
Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of relevant laws and regulations that affect supply chain activities and ensuring compliance to avoid legal issues.
Sustainability: Knowledge of sustainable practices in supply chain management to reduce environmental impact and enhance corporate social responsibility.
Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement by staying updated with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to enhance supply chain operations.
🥅 Your Mission

Develop, implement, and maintain a strategic approach to the supply chain from procurement to distribution.
Manage and optimize a logistics network with multiple distribution centers.
Supervise and streamline supply chain and logistics processes, including materials planning, procurement, inventory control, outsourcing, and vendor management.
Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps.
Focus on cost management, technology integration and implementation, and supplier relationships to enhance procurement efficiency.
Forecast demand and ensure supply chain preparedness to meet seasonal peaks and customer demand.
Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies.
Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to identify bottlenecks and other issues.
Evaluate overall performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and report findings to the senior management team.
Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.

🏆 Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Coordinator, or in a similar role.
Expertise in supply chain management software and tools, including SAP, Oracle, etc.
Strong knowledge of analysis tools, data entry software, and spreadsheet software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and manage staff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a performance-oriented approach.
