Hello there! We’re Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (also known as _VO IS) and we’re looking for a     Subject Matter Expert - Treasury (maternity cover)   SHORTDESCRIPTION section.

Your role in a nutshell.
In this role you will provide treasury services for the Group and for the Operating Companies, ensuring that treasury policies are adhered to and minimizing risks for the Group.
You will minimize transactional and foreign exchange risk in Vodafone Group through effective cash forecasting, management of multi-currency cash positions and communication with Group Treasury and Operating Companies.
You will perform reconciliations of cash movements and treasury deals with consideration of the internal policies and accounting standards.
You will support the issuance of bank guarantees under Group Facility in accordance with the delegation of authority rules and global treasury policy guidelines.
You will enable to provide a reliable and stable supply chain financing functionality for the Operating Companies.
You will support the team with accounting, control and system knowledge for system and process development, for training the staff, you will representing the area in projects requires expertise.
To handle non-standard and sensitive issues and queries.
To provide professional support to the team to perform assigned accounting and control transaction processing responsibilities and ensuring compliance with policy and accounting practice.
What will you do in your role.
Perform high-level treasury transactions Prepare cash forecasts and cash reports Manage FX exposure Support month-end closing activities for reporting and reconciliation Support the development of Treasury Commercial Products like SCF, Handset Financing, Bank guarantee issuance Actively searching for the potential process improvements and proactively supports projects dedicated to the team Handle non-standard and sensitive issues and queries Support the team to perform assigned accounting and control responsibilities and ensuring compliance with policy and accounting practice.
What you will bring to the team.
Treasury, Cash Management, FX management knowledge and experience (5+) SOX, IFRS/IAS and local GAAP knowledge Finance/accounting knowledge and experience (5+) Chartered/certified Accountant  Advanced MS Excel knowledge SAP ECC experience Expertise in multinational environment Fluent English Analytical skill Accuracy Good judgment and problem-solving skill  Customer focus Teamwork Coordination and communication skill Influencing and stakeholder management skill       In return we provide you with.
