What you’ll do      The Strategy team at Vodafone UK play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's long-term objectives, driving growth, innovation, and competitive advantage in the telecommunications industry.
The Strategy team leverage comprehensive market analysis, strategic planning, and collaboration with key stakeholders to identify emerging opportunities, anticipate industry trends, and formulate actionable strategies that propel the company forward in a dynamic and competitive marketplace.
The Strategy Manager is primarily responsible for developing specific modules within the overall Vodafone UK Strategy.
The role holder will lead strategic initiatives, executing innovative business strategy modules that ensure sustainable and competitive advantage for Vodafone in the Telecommunications sector.
Key accountabilities include.
Developing appropriate approach/methodology for analytical modelling, factoring in competitor actions and reactions, and other sensitives.
Build commercial and financial excel models to analyse strategic issues that sit at the foundation of key strategy projects; ensuring models are sufficiently flexible to enable changes in key assumptions.
upport Senior Strategy Managers with the completion of strategy recommendations (e.
.
presentations) socialising model inputs and outputs (e.
.
conclusions) with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders across other functions to obtain relevant input data, align on modelling methodologies and jointly validate analytical outcomes/conclusions.
Contribute perspectives to the broader team on how Vodafone can enhance it’s strategic position in the market vs.
competitors.
Gain competence in new modelling tools to enable big data analysis        Who you are      Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Track record of driving business results through the development and implementation of innovative strategies.
Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Natural collaborator with strong stakeholder management skills.
Action orientated with relentless curiosity.
Likely to have a minimum 4 years experience in either Tier 1 Strategy Consulting firm, Professional Services, In-House Strategy/Corporate Development team (or similar) TMT knowledge and interest is desirable     Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
