SR. WEB ENGINEER

At QAD we are looking for a Senior Web Engineer who is passionate about new technologies and wants to be part of the team developing and maintaining the QAD Champion Webapp serving the primary AI use-cases for various products within QAD.
As a part of the Engineering team based in the US and Europe this role will bring you great opportunities to work on various projects technologies with a diverse range of teams.
You will play a key role on a fast paced project using agentic AI to accelerate your delivery.
What you will do.
Develop and enhance user experience with AI workflows in support of the various QAD applications Complete delivery work committed during the sprint to achieve business goals.
Help the business maintain a competitive edge by leveraging the latest Web technologies.
Rely on feature flags to rapidly deploy and iterate on new features and lower the risk of delivering software to production.
Provide subject matter expertise during incidents to resolve customer issues quickly.
Participate in forums to explore interests outside of the sprint work and contribute ideas to continuously improve the system.
Commit to the team to help the team and the wider business achieve our goals.
Qualifications.
5 years of Web Development including 3 Years of Vue Technical skills (must haves).
Deep expertise in the modern ecosystem including Vue 3 and the Composition API.
Deep familiarity with Vite as a primary build tool and development server.
Proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable and type-safe applications.
Deep expertise in Vue core Libraries like Pinia stores and Vue Router Skilled in creating responsive modern UIs with Tailwind CSS based on Figma designs Strong commitment to quality with hands-on experience writing unit testing and end-to-end testing.
Familiarity with Trunk-Based Development Continuous Delivery and using tools like LaunchDarkly for feature flagging.
Strong knowledge about and Typescript ecosystem and libraries Nice to Have.
Docker Experience using Mock Service Worker (MSW) for robust API mocking during development.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Experience with front-end monitoring tools specifically Datadog RUM.
Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) Systems Architectures Generating endpoints and models from OAS Experience using agentic ai tools (e.
Claude code Copilot) to speed up delivery Soft skills.
Good collaboration skills at all levels with cross-functional teams Highly developed ownerships and creative thinking Analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems Process orientation and ability to build effective solutions Time management and organizational skills Additional Information.
