In this vital role, you will assess and provide treatment for clients dealing with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, positively impacting their lives through improved communication skills.
Key Responsibilities.
• Perform detailed assessments to identify speech and language disorders in clients.
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs based on client assessments.
• Provide high-quality therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care and support.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatments, and client progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure best practices in the field.
• Educate families and caregivers on effective communication strategies to aid client improvement.
Requirements • A degree in Speech Therapy or equivalent qualification with valid licensure.
• Fluent in English, with additional language skills as a plus.
• Prior experience in speech therapy, especially in clinical or educational settings, is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to relocate to Ireland and adapt to a new cultural environment.
