SPACE PROJECT MANAGER

At Quside, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-tech environment and contribute significantly to the growth of the company’s suite of products and services for the space sector. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Space Project Manager to lead our space projects from conception to deployment.The Space Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term projects related to space hardware components. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in hardware manufacturing for space applications, project management acumen, and exceptional leadership skills.Key Responsibilities:Lead cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives within scope, timeline, and budget.Develop and refine project plans, including milestones, resources needed, budget, and timing.Coordinate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless production and delivery of space hardware components.Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and expectations.Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.Maintain compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols specific to space hardware manufacturing. (e.g. ECSS)Prepare and present regular project reports and updates to senior management and clients.PMO lead.What you need:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field. A master’s degree or certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in the aerospace, satellite, or space hardware manufacturing sector.Proven track record of successful project delivery in the space industry.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.Strong technical understanding of space hardware components and their production processes.Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.English (Advanced) and Spanish (Advanced)Experience with Agile project management methodologies.Familiarity with CAD software and project management tools.What we offer:Comprehensive private health insurance Cobee discounts on kindergarten, transportation, and restaurants.
