About the team you will be joining at TransPerfect – TechOps: The TransPerfect TechOps team has been a vital part of the company’s success since its formation over 10 years ago – delivering technology and services that have drastically simplified the lives of our clients and colleagues – from workflow improvements for colleagues to core services that form the basis of the company’s GlobalLink platform, to creating scalable client interfaces that allow novice users to navigate complex ecosystems. Your responsibilities and tasks will include: Manage the entire product lifecycle of a technical product Collaborate within distributed cross-functional teams to define the product vision, roadmap, and strategy based on market trends, customer feedback, in line with the company’s business goals Correctly prioritize work of the development team and adjust where needed, analyzing technical issues clarify any questions and remove roadblocks Ensure quality and frequency of releases, collaborating with QA analysts and developers, and run Agile ceremonies Monitor the software delivery process, and propose and help implement process improvements where needed Create, prioritize and groom the product backlog, and write clear user stories and acceptance criteria Customer discovery using stakeholder feedback, market analysis and collaboration with UX research team Manage and leverage web analytics for your product to analyze the performance of the existing features and prioritize the future ones Communicate scope changes and prioritization reasoning to stakeholders Gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders. Ensure that products comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security best practices, mitigating potential risks and vulnerabilities Collaborate with customer support teams to address product-related issues, prioritize feature requests, and enhance the overall customer experience Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and enhance product development efficiency The minimum we’re looking for (show us what you got if you aren’t a perfect fit): Bachelor’s degree in a field such as design, business, computer science or related field Proven experience (3+ years) in technical product management or a similar role, with a track record of successfully bringing products to market A solid working knowledge of the product management lifecycle and an understanding of the tenets of software development using Agile methodologies Proficient in the technical aspects of backend products/technology to a level that enables you to discuss priorities and issues with the development team and prioritize accordingly Experience in working with distributed teams Experience managing products or projects using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps Server, Confluence, Trello, etc. Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment Expert communication skills: ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations, be prepared to justify delays or scope changes, and communicate technical information to business stakeholders in an easy-to-understand way Experience with web analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, Matomo, Localytics or similar is a plus Work model:This position is intended to be largely in-office with a focus on flexibility. Today, most of the global team is on a hybrid model ranging between 3-4 days in the office per week. We aim to find an inclusive balance between everyone's personal lives and responsibilities and the value created from in-office collaboration. We work with new team members to find that balance with them while building the trust and collaboration that our team values.We believe that sharing the same physical space with our colleagues creates a level of trust and understanding that fosters innovation and a sense of purpose.The socializing and relationships formed from these in-person interactions have created the bonds that make our team successful.We not only want to encourage people to safely spend time in the office, but also, schedule regular travel between our offices in Europe and the US – and a regular conference where the entire worldwide team is gathered together. Maybe the Metaverse will replace the office some day – but it hasn't yet!
