Software Engineer IT Finance Platform,     Position.
A software engineer is an early-in-career role for engineers who have been developing skills by learning on the job.
This role is strongly focused on learning and development through increasing independence in the development, design and maintenance of clean, maintainable code to create products and services in our platforms.
Individuals in this role will:​ Develop skills while working under supervision to deliver stories in a multi-disciplinary team​ Understand and be proficient in different types of testing​ Be aware of but not responsible for security​ Coach and mentor more junior colleagues​ Specifically in the IT Finance Platform, the role is in the unit Financial Reporting & Planning.
Additional purpose is.
​ Enable the Product Finance 360 for the Division Crop Science (CSFI360) with IT engineering and product life cycle management capabilities​ Collaborate across division with focus on Data Visualization and Analytics​   Key responsabilities.
Programming and Build ​ Collaborate with others when necessary to review user stories and code and develop implementation approaches to enable the product vision​ Manage the Product backlog for the CSFI360 with the colleagues in the Management Reporting squad​ Use the agreed implementation approaches to design, code, test, and document programs or scripts of medium-to-high complexity, using the right standards and tools​ Systems Design ​ Translate logical designs into physical designs​ Produce detailed designs​ Effectively document all work using required standards, methods, and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate​ Design systems characterized by managed levels of risk, manageable business and technical complexity, and meaningful impact​ Work with well understood technology and identify appropriate patterns​ Modern Standards and Integration Approach ​ Understand the most important principles of a modern standards approach and how they apply to current work​ Apply these principles under guidance​ Information Security ​ Develop an understanding of information security and the types of security controls that can be used to mitigate security threats within products and services​ Prototyping ​ Develop an understanding of when to use specific prototyping techniques or methods​ Demonstrate value to others in the form of prototypes​ Risk Management ​ Establish design patterns and iterate them​ Approach prototyping as a team activity, actively soliciting prototypes and testing with others​ Look at strategic service design end to end​ Service Support ​ Identify, locate, and fix faults​ User Focus ​ Collaborate with user researchers and represent users internally​ Explain the difference between user needs and the desires of the user​ Champion user research to focus on all users​ Prioritize and define approaches to understand the user story, guiding others in doing so​ Offer recommendations on the best tools and methods to use​ Stakeholder Collaboration ​ Work closely with product managers, enterprise architects, devops teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.​ Communicate integration decisions, plans, goals, and strategies clearly towards squads​ Scope.

Required.
​ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field​ 5+ experience as a software engineer​ Fundamental skills from project management and controlling​ Proficiency in one or more technologies.
Power BI​ Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (e.
., Agile, Scrum)​ Proficiency in software design and architecture​ Extensive experience with version control systems like Git​ Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code​ Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs) like Visual Studio, IntelliJ Idea or Eclipse​ Knowledge of software development tools and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)​ Advanced understanding of database management and SQL​ Preferred.
