SOC Analyst L1 with French  – EY GDS Spain - Hybrid  The opportunity Join our team as an SOC Analyst L1 and be the first line of defense in the battle against cyber threats.
As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches.
You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Your key responsibilities As a SOC Analyst L1, you'll be responsible for monitoring security systems, analyzing alerts, and responding to incidents to help safeguard our organization.
You'll work closely with the team to identify vulnerabilities, perform log analysis, and ensure security protocols are followed.
Monitor security systems and analyze security alerts.
Respond to security incidents and document response activities.
Collaborate with the team to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Perform log analysis and reporting to identify suspicious behavior.
Maintain documentation of standard operating procedures and security policies.
Work in CEST working hours   Skills and attributes for success To succeed in this role, you'll need a sharp eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a strong foundation in cybersecurity fundamentals.
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity technologies (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus).
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent are a plus.
To qualify for the role, you must have   A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field Good organizational and analytical skills.
Fluent in French and English.
Ideally, you’ll also have Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
Experience in international environments.
