SENIOR UI\/UX WEB DESIGNER

Are you an experienced and passionate UX/UI Creative looking to take your career to the next level? Skillsearch is working with a creative agency seeking a talented individual to join their studio team as a UX/UI Creative.
In this role, you will lead the creative strategy and execution across a diverse range of digital projects, including defining user experiences, designing interfaces, and developing front-end web designs.
You’ll bring your creative concepts to life by collaborating closely with strategists and web developers, using client and internal feedback to shape the direction of each project.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from website design to social campaign assets and dashboards.
The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver, eager to learn and grow, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You will report to the Digital Director and ensure the delivery of high-quality creative work that exceeds client objectives.
In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to.
Responsibilities.
Deliver high-quality digital projects on time, within budget, and in line with the brief.
Influence and interpret the product vision, both independently and collaboratively.
Execute creative solutions for digital projects across desktop and mobile platforms in alignment with the agency's strategy.
Collaborate with the client’s development team to ensure the technical feasibility of your UX and UI designs.
Support project teams using a variety of design techniques, from workshopping and concepting to prototyping, to communicate and validate design solutions.
Assist Digital Producers with scoping creative projects, including providing time estimates to inform project budgets.
Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams on both client projects and internal agency work.
Communicate effectively with the team throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in client meetings as needed.
Contribute creative insights or outputs for new business pitches and proposals.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and creative standards, proactively suggesting improvements to enhance the agency's offering.
Requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for creative work and digital technology, with a keen interest in the entertainment industry, particularly video game culture.
Essential skills and experience.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industry.
A portfolio showcasing high-quality, full-lifecycle design across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
A strong understanding of UX principles and user flows for digital products.
Experience with web design best practices such as grid systems, component-first design, and responsive web design.
Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking on projects.
Proven ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently articulate ideas and rationale to stakeholders.
Desirable skills.
Experience with project management tools (Jira is preferred).
Motion graphics experience using After Effects.
Experience working with 3D creative outputs.
Branding experience, including logo design, identity creation, or key art development.
