Follow up on the APQP process as part of the launch of new products.
Coordinate technical reviews and develop supplier capabilities to meet BorgWarner requirements.
Develop supplier resources to meet BW requirements.
Conduct quality training for suppliers.
Coordinate performance improvement actions for suppliers to achieve established goals.
Coordinate the resolution of technical problems at the supplier.
Follow established procedures and work to identify best practices.
Review work performed according to technical opinion, analyzing the overall situation against predefined goals.
Participate in the definition of commodity strategy.
Drive process improvements.
Comply with environmental, energy efficiency, occupational health and safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Comply with organizational rules and internal regulations.
Code of Ethics, practice, and schedule.
Respect safety and cleanliness rules at the workplace.
Respect and comply with Environmental Management Policy, Energy Efficiency, Occupational Health and Safety rules.
Actively participate in the continuous improvement of Environmental Management Policy, Energy Efficiency, Occupational Health and Safety.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Master's degree (preferred).
3-5 years of experience in Quality and/or Process Engineering in the automotive industry or related fields.
Knowledge in manufacturing problem-solving (8-D Methodology) and necessary manufacturing processes with emphasis on Six Sigma methods (DMAIC).
Knowledge of QS- / IATF requirements, including APQP and PPAP.
Knowledge of SPC.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Lotus Notes, Minitab, and PowerPoint.
Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and/or concrete variables.
Good English language skills (spoken and written).
