SENIOR QA MANAGER – SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE / TEST DEVELOPMENT

Senior QA Manager – Software Quality Assurance / Test Development We're partnered with a fast-growing fabless semiconductor company focused on the design and manufacture of highly integrated radio frequency, analog, digital, and mixed-signal integrated circuits. They need a Senior QA Manager to join the team, working predominantly onsite (1-2 days per week from home)This is a permanent role, working in the beautiful city of Valencia, in Spain.In this role you will take responsibility of: defining and implementing QA strategies, test plans, and test automation frameworks for embedded and application-level software, you'll lead a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development, you'll collaborate closely with development, product, and hardware teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software lifecycle, you'll drive test coverage across integration, system, and regression levels. Integrated in our CI system and oversee and manage test lab definition, set up and maintenance, to support automated and manual testingWhat we look for is:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field10+ years of experience in software QA or embedded systems testing5+ years in a leadership or management role within QA or software engineeringProven track record of building and scaling QA teamsStrong experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and automationGood level of Python or scripting languages for test automationExperience with test frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, Jenkins, etc.)Ability to understand automation architecture and provide related inputs to the teamFamiliarity with embedded systems, device drivers, and hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.)Solid understanding of RTOS environments and multi-core systemsDesirable knowledge of communication systems and their main protocolsExcellent debugging and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership, organizational, and project management abilitiesEffective English communication skills, both written and verbalExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsAny of the following will be considered a plus:Experience in telecom, wireless, or embedded product developmentFamiliarity with Linux/Windows driver testingIf this sounds interesting and you'd like to learn more, click the link below to apply or email me with a copy of your CV on smouland@eu-recruit.comBy applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
