  Reporting into the MedTech Education group, the Senior Manager, Academic Alliances is responsible for developing and supervising the strategy and execution of engagement and support for key Academic Medical Centers in the education of orthopaedic residents and fellows across the MedTech product portfolio.
The Senior Manager will lead a team of 5 employees/contractors and work closely with Platform Education Teams, Commercial Teams, Sales, Health Care Professionals, Professional Relations, Medical Affairs and specialty societies to develop and coordinate curriculum for company sponsored Professional Education events of varying sizes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
Develop strategic plans and identify associated tactics to integrate new product and technology solutions into resident/fellow educational programs that support broader organizational objectives.
Assist WW Director in creation of value prop messaging for Academic Medical Centers related to our educational offering and how to differentiate from competitive offerings.
Work with specialty societies in support of their resident and fellow curriculum aligned to our product training plans.
Proactively communicate with and accept feedback from field sales, strategic account group, marketing, and other associated teams to ensure training programs are effective and fully aligned with overall business strategies and goals.
Prepare reports, slides, and recommendations to ensure standard processes are shared with the Global Leadership Team.
Maintain familiarity with opposing vendors’ activities, treatment trends, technology, and new regulations that may present opportunities or threats to the company.
Evaluate and recommend acquisition or implementation of new training methods or technologies that meets the need of the learner and expand the learning continuum such as web-based applications and digital tools.
Collaborate with MedTech Professional Education platform leads to establish and implement personalized learning journeys and other online learning opportunities tailored to residents and fellows.
Partner with platform leads to seamlessly incorporate Future Leaders education offerings related to platform needs Partner with SCG to implement Value Prop of our differentiated Future Leaders resident and fellows Ed Tech Solutions to external customers.
Partner with commercial Customer Experience group to ensure seamless integration of education into external communication pathways.
Use data to track results, point to successes and roadblocks, and define solutions Assist WW Director and EdTech LT in communicating our Resident and Fellows strategy.
Qualifications Qualifications.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 5-8 years in healthcare or medical device roles such as Marketing, Product Management, Professional Education, Sales Training; or other applicable experience required.
Experience building, cultivating and expanding external partnerships preferred Ability to negotiate and find mutually agreeable solutions Comfort with ambiguity in both strategic and tactical matters.
Prioritization and decision-making in complex situations with opposing inputs.
Consistent record to lead across multi-functional teams Strong data analysis skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Leadership, ownership, self-motivation, and drive to deliver results in dynamic, constantly evolving environments.
Ability to handle a dynamic workload.
Maturity and tact in handling interpersonal dynamics.
Appetite for rolling up sleeves and getting hands dirty in executing and collaborating.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
