SENIOR IT CONTRACT MANAGER

Where passion meets opportunity The best of your adventures is the one you have yet to sail! Your Purpose The Senior IT Contract Manager plays a key role in managing and optimising contracts across IT, Cybersecurity, Digital Technology, and Explora.
This position supports MSC's strategic goals by enhancing vendor performance and contributing to operational excellence in the cruise technology landscape.
Your Impact The role ensures contract compliance, optimises contract execution and the suppliers.
This strategic position elevates the MSC relationship with suppliers and helps positioning the Company as a leader in the Cruises technology landscape and plays a crucial part in achieving operational excellence and maximising value from technology investments.
The role will have the following responsibilities.
* Lead end-to-end contractual operational framework of IT, Cyber, technology contracts, ensuring contract pipeline, process efficiency, compliance by alignment with internal and external stakeholders * Drives contractual pipeline, governance, provides strategic insights on contractual (Hardware, Consulting, Licensing) terms and the renewals plan, amendments, and terminations of contracts, ensuring favorable terms, appropriate risk mitigation, and optimisation of total cost of ownership.
* Document and monitor key contractual KPI and monitor vendors performance.
Participate a leads vendors steering committees * Collaborate with internal stakeholders across IT, Cybersecurity, Digital Technology, and Explora departments to understand needs, support contract operational processes, and maintain effective vendor communication and contract pipeline management * Proactively monitor contract performance, managing escalations and disputes effectively to protect company interests and maintain seamless service delivery.
* Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing contracts, identifying opportunities for consolidation, standardisation, and improved contractual terms and conditions.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on contract-related matters to internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity on contractual obligations and responsibilities.
* Support the Head of IT Procurement / Individual IT Head of departments in developing and implementing procedures, and frameworks related to contract management for operational efficiency in alignment with Global procurement policies.
Your Journey so far * Minimum of 7 years' proven experience in IT contract management, procurement, or related fields.
* Bachelors or Master`s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Business Administration or Supply Chain Management or Purchasing Management.
* Familiarity with Cybersecurity, Digital, and IT governance frameworks.
* Experience with multinational and cross-functional teams, capable of influencing and managing stakeholders at various organisational levels.
Your Essentials * Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proven experience managing complex technology contracts and supplier relationships.
* Demonstrated knowledge of contract law, IT procurement standards, and vendor management best practices.
* Certification or training in contract management, procurement (e.
., CIPS), or related professional certifications is highly desirable.
* EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland.
