WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Join our Team Non-Conformance Management Devops within the department Digitalization of Production Technology and be part of our journey to drive our application portfolio for our global stakeholder community. Our goal is to support the divisions to comply to regulatory and legal requirements, improve administrational, production and logistic processes to make them more effective and efficient. In this role, you will be end-to-end responsible for the development and management of our Non-Conformance Management solution, which is based on, but not limited to SAP R/3 and S/4.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- You will be responsible for technical design of application enhancements, new applications for BASF NCM processes and support testing and system maintenance activities.
- You will develop the application by using state-of-the-art programming methods and you will ensure runnable, supportable, and stable solutions.
- You will work closely with the solutions consultants, but also with the Divisions to further improve our NCM Solutions.
- Ensuring integration with other SAP and Non-SAP applications using modern interface architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, or comparable from an accredited college or university
- You have 5+ years programming experience in working as a Software Developer (UI5, React Native, Angular, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, others)
- Proficient in React Native, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript for developing responsive and interactive web applications.
- Experience with interfaces, such as Rest / Odata, for seamless integration and data exchange.
- Strong understanding of Database normalization for data integrity and optimal performance.
- Proficient in designing concepts, principles, patterns, and layers architecture for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Experience in unit testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of developed functionalities.
- Familiarity with agile delivery methods such as Scrum and utilization of work organization tools like Azure DevOps for efficient collaboration and timely project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- The will and ability to drive change and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and virtual team.

NICE TO HAVE

- Knowledge of application lifecycle, change/release management process.
- Knowledge of Test automation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure / Github environment.
- Knowledge of GIT, CI/CD, and other technologies.
- Knowledge of database technology.
- IT-Security Knowledge.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 10002.
- Experience in SAP Cloud Application and Fiori Front-End Applications.
