The Challenge

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for working with large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations. You will work closely with Marketing, creating data pipelines and transforming data-driven insights into strategic recommendations. Collaborating closely with Product, Data, and Tech teams, you will design and execute experiments, conduct quantitative research, and ensure continuous access to high-quality data and insightful visualizations.

What You Will Do
- Extract quantitative insights from data and interpret them in order to provide the team with actionable opportunities and correctly assess knowledge gaps
- Participate in the definition and implementation of the teams main metrics and data models, ensuring quality and reliability
- Present and share quantitative insights and/or analysis to stakeholders across the company
- Facilitate data access to stakeholders and team members
- Collaborate and participate in core projects for the central Analytics in order to provide a holistic view of data in the company
- Promote data culture across the team and the organization
- Ensure the quality and relevance of experiments
- Map qualitative insights with concrete metrics that can support findings
- Provide high-quality documentation for metrics, analysis, data models, etc.
- Work in the Integration and extraction of data from various data sources, transforming and loading it into a centralized data repository or data warehouse.

What Were Looking For
- Knowledge in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes and ability to build data pipelines.
- Basic knowledge of cloud-based environments, ideally AWS.
- Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL processes.
- Experience in developing advanced visualizations and interactive dashboards for data insights, by using BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
- Understanding of data analytics concepts, techniques and methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.
- Great communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with domain teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to learn quickly and keep up with emerging technologies in the data analytics space.

What Would Be A Plus
- Basic experience in training and applying Machine Learning models and techniques
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Domain expertise in marketplaces or classifieds.
- Exposure to qualitative research methodologies.

Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self-organizes to decide on cadence and in-person/remote rituals.
