As a KYC Backend Spark Developer Tribe Technical Lead, your mission will be to develop, test and deploy the technical and functional specifications from the Solution Designers / Business Architects / Business Analysts, guaranteeing the correct operability and compliance with the internal quality levels.
We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:
- You will develop end-to-end ETL processes with Spark/Scala. This includes transferring data from/to the data lake, technical validations, business logic, etc.
- You will use Scrum methodology and be part of a high-performance team.
- Develop the required specifications through the delivery of services and technical Backend components required for its operation, with a view of your own development and its integration with other teams and systems.
- You will document your solutions in the Group Santander tools: JIRA, Confluence, ALM
- You will certify your delivery and its integration with other components, designing and performing the relevant tests to ensure the quality of your team delivery.
- You will coordinate the Technical Product Teams efforts. This role ensures that the overall technical strategy is applied across the different parts of the product and helps reduce dependencies between them. It has a close relationship with all product owners and stakeholders.

- Ensure Technical end-to-end accountability for your product.
- Manage your squads and the coordination with other squads to ensure timely delivery.
- Define / Support / Implement technical product strategy in alignment with Santander business objectives.
- Understand the IT cost structure of all components and suppliers.
- Clearly understand clients business needs.
- Measure the value delivered to final customer business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners, setting product strategy from the technical point of view.
- Support the backlog prioritization and communicate the technical product strategy.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working in programming backend applications, ideally on Agile with Big Data technologies, preferably in Spark with Scala, software design patterns, and TDD.
- Experience working with big data Spark, Hadoop, Hive is a must Azure Databricks would be a plus.
- Agile approach for software development.
- Experience and expertise across data integration and data management with high data volumes.
- Apache Spark.
- Experience working in agile Spring Boot.
- Framework testing: JUnit, Mockito, Newman, Postman.
- APIs (REST SOAP gateway patterns).
- Continuous integration/DevOps paradigm and toolset (Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, Jira).
- Experience with different database structures, including Postgres, SQL, Hive.
- Project lifecycle.
- English (at least B2+).
