SENIOR AREA SALES MANAGER IBERICA - LANDSCAPE

OverviewLandscape Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for the follow up of our distribution network in the territory thru the management of a multidisciplinary team developing Distribution points of sale, Irrigation contractors, Maintenance Agencies and Public Agencies within the assigned area. The goal is to increase project sales, market share, product and solutions knowledge, improve our technical support and drive sales for Rain Bird products and solutions.Responsibilities Responsibilities: Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team in both Sales and Specification activity. Follow up and Manage the existing distribution network in the assigned territory. Increase Rain Bird’s market share with Main Contractors and Maintenance agencies. Establish and implement strategies that deliver increased knowledge and promotes sales within the assigned territory. Promote product demonstrations with the regional team. Promote relationships with targeted Irrigation Consultants, Contractors, Maintenance Agencies and Corporate Accounts at the decision maker level. Closely coordinate Area Sales Managers and Specification Managers within the territory to identify customers who represent the greatest opportunities. Promote product trainings, education events to irrigation users, and work as an essential member of the Iberia team. Make Rain Bird the most visible manufacturer to all Contractors in the region. Promote Rain Bird participation in all relevant events for the purpose of networking and generating opportunities to sell Rain Bird products and solutions. This position requires approximately 50% business travel. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/SKILLS: MBA or graduate degree Proven Sales Team Management experience required Experience in specification is a plus Experience in distribution network management Ability to motivate positively and results oriented Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills Excellent written and verbal English skills The information collected during the application process will be processed electronically by the Human Relations Department of Rain Bird Europe and Rain Bird Corporation.
