As a Tomato Selector, based in Spain, you will be part of our Tomato breeding team developing varieties for the winter protected cultivation market segment.
Under the guidance of the lead breeder for this segment, you will be responsible for the development of the next generation of successful, innovative Tomato varieties.
As Selector Tomato you will be working on new varieties, plant concepts and disease resistances, in close contact with the market they are intended for and in close cooperation with the sales team.
You work alternatively in the greenhouse and the office.
In addition, you are involved in.
arious breeding tasks such as phenotyping, evaluation and administration of various selection and variety trials, both on location as abroad.
nternational travel to judge variety trials.
