maybe this is your place!:) Your main mission as a Security Manager is to to guarantee the security of both guests and employees on the Resort, instructing and training his/her team members concerning the reasons for fulfilling security procedures and providing quality service.
Reporting the Hotel General Manager on any urgent or immediate situation that needs immediate action.
As Security Manager Aruba, What will your day-to-day work be like?.
-Supervise Shift Supervisors, through repeated patrols in the various areas of the hotel.
The objective is to guarantee that security services are being fulfilled correctly.
-Supervise passage ways, public and service areas by way of repeated patrols, verifying that the facilities are in perfect condition, in order to avoid accidents to both guests and employees.
- Personally attend to critical situations or management requests, whenever Supervisors cannot find a solution.
This is done so as to avoid making incorrect decisions that may affect or aggravate the situation.
-Report any new developments for the day to the General Manager, so that they are kept informed of the most relevant events in the hotel.
-Register attendance, days off and areas worked by Security personnel in a form created for that purpose, so that monthly compensation payments can be facilitated.
-To correctly wear his/her uniform as well as any hygiene or protective gear that is provided.
-Ensure that cleaning and proper use of work equipment.
-Complete the above mentioned activities within the designated areas.
-Support the activities in the Security department, so as to maintain levels of performance and efficiency among employees.
-Comply with registration procedures and security systems within the organization as well as with established work rules and regulations.
General.
-Determine risk areas depending on the degree of susceptibility to fires, hurricanes and earthquakes.
The purpose of which is, to take adequate security measures.
-Complete actual fire drills and keep documentation in proper order, so that Tour Operators can be shown the Security quality standards of the hotel.
Administrative.
-Complete a monthly report of missing “lost and found” items.
This is done in order to complete a statistical report of the lost and found articles.
-Complete a monthly report of the state of fire fighting equipment, caution/warning signs, evacuation/exit routes and meeting points, so that quality standards and security service can be achieved.
-Register attendance, days off and areas worked by Security personnel in a form created for that purpose, so that monthly compensation payments can be facilitated.
-Complete monthly pre-inventories, so that actual stock levels can be determined and the necessary warehouse requests made.
Operational.
-Complete breathalyzer tests for those employees suspected of drunkenness, to know whether they had in fact ingested alcoholic beverages and to protect the integrity of both guests and employees.
-Coordinate transfers of important persons, so that quality service can be offered from the arrival of the guest at the airport until his/her departure from the hotel.
Requisitos Who is the ideal person for this position?.
-Associate Degree/Bachelors Degree from an accredited University or Military or Police Staff College -At Least two (2) years’ experience in Hospitality Security, Military, Police or similar field.
-Supervisory Experience – At least 1 year of supervisory experience in the Hospitality field covering investigations, loss prevention strategies and task force assignments.
-Knowledge of fire fighting methods and first aid.
-Knowledge of security norms.
-Ability to impart courses.
-Ability to work under pressure.
-Good health and physical condition -Proficiency in GSuites -Excellent Command of the English Language- A second language is an asset Se ofrece Our proposal for you.
