Job Description SO/ Sotogrande, a luxury hotel located in the beautiful coastal town of Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our discerning guests while leading and motivating our restaurant staff.
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service Manage staff scheduling, assignments, and performance evaluations Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe dining environment Assist in menu planning, inventory management, and cost control Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient communication between front and back of house Monitor and maintain the quality of food and beverage service Implement and uphold SO/ Sotogrande's luxury hospitality standards Assist in organizing and executing special events and promotions Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of experience in restaurant supervision or management, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including knowledge of Spanish and international cuisine Experience with wine pairing and beverage service Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish is highly advantageous High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred Current Food Safety Certification Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards and practices Additional Information Attractive incentive plan.
