¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto? We are seeking a highly skilled Record to Report Team Lead to join our Finance team in Barcelona.
In this role, you will lead the R2R team, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reports, and managing the month-end closing processes.
You will be responsible for overseeing account reconciliations, providing technical expertise on GAAP and IFRS standards, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Your collaboration with local, regional, and HQ finance teams will be crucial in managing financial operations and preparing detailed reports that support the strategic goals of our organization.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the R2R team.
Ensure the accuracy and compliance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage financial closing processes and internal and external audits.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy of reporting.
Train and mentor team members to ensure their professional development.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.
Develop and maintain complex financial models and analyses.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team on accounting standards and practices, including GAAP and IFRS.
Oversee the reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)? Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
6 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in team management.
Former Big 4 would be a plus Experience handling external audits English proficiency is a must (and French nice to have) ACCA Certificate or equivalent nice to have Proficiency in accounting and financial reporting software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong technical skills in financial analysis and modeling.
Experience with advanced data analytics tools and techniques.
