We seek to understand and respect others regardless of their background or position.The Opportunity:We are currently looking for a skilled QA Engineer / Software Engineer in Test to join our Engineering team based in Spain and reporting directly to the Head of of Engineering.Responsibilities:Evaluate the quality of the software development by PnT team, providing the necessary strategies and tools.Participate in the definition of issues and technical solutions: define user stories, additional functional and non-functional requirements as testability, metrics, performance, security, documentation, observability, alerts, etc.Build different type of tests and frameworks.Understand business and user requirements and verify that the software meets these requirements.Define the different testing strategies.Bug analysis and track their resolution.Follow Agile values and principles. We break product development work into small increments so we can add value sooner.Work with CI / CD pipelines: We don’t like wasting time with manual, error-prone deployment work. Requirements:Academic background in Computer Science or similar.Strong verbal and written English communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills. Willing to improve and learn every day.Results-oriented – drive to get stuff done.Collaborative approach - understand that we don’t win unless the team wins, and you leave ego out of it.+3 years of experience in a similar role with proven track record of improving your customers’ experiences.Put the customer first in everything you do and understand how to solve customer problems while serving business needs.
